Ministry Purpose & goals

At each service a member is assigned the duty of “lay reader.”  A member volunteers to be part of a team to read the Scripture lessons for that week’s church service.

WHEN WE MEET

When you volunteer to be a scripture reader, you will be scheduled for a specific date and service−Saturday, Sunday or the Thursday Video recording of the weekly service.. The Lay reader reads the first lesson and/or Psalms. 

On the Tuesday before the service, the Spirit of Grace staff will send you the lesson via email.  This gives you three to four days to read, practice and ask any questions about the lesson.
